Peer reviewers are required to:
- Observe confidentiality of all materials for all times
- Should be fair, avoid unclear statements, and support their critique with logical explanations
Review Process
AJOTRE operates on the policy of double anonymized review process. To ensure anonymity, the authors are required to provide official names, institution affiliation, biographical statement, and acknowledgments in a separate file. Only the title is provided for identification on the manuscript and abstract received by the reviewer. The following is the review process
- Editorial screening. In the stage the editorial bord check the manuscript for scope relevance, basic formatting, and plagiarism test.
- Assign 2 Anonymous Reviewers. These will check originality and significance, methodology coherent of argument, relevancy of literature, writing mechanics, and clarity. Within six weeks, reviewers provide a confidential written report that indicate one of the four recommendations (Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, Rejected). The reviewers will also provide the reviewed manuscript in Microsoft word document.
- Anonymous Report.The anonymized reviewer comments to the author
- Authors Resubmission. A revised manuscript with a response letter indicating how each comment was addressed.
- Reviewers Confirmation. Sending back the manuscript to reviewers for second review in case of disagreement on the comment made by the reviewers.
- Final Decision. Upon acceptance, the manuscript enters the production phase (copyediting and typesetting according to AJOTRE template).

- June Issue: Deadline for submissions - March 31
- December Issue: Deadline for submissions - September 30
